About Us:

Crossroads Management Group was founded by Sharon Halter, an international business executive with 30 years of experience building new businesses and leading successful operating turnarounds, strategic repositionings, and high-growth industrial product businesses.  Key to that success were:
  • Aggressive focus on defining the unique and critical needs of each business,
  • Organiziation-wide commitment to delivering real customer value at a competitive price point, and
  • Disciplined execution throughout the organization

In 2006 Ms. Halter founded Crossroads Management Group, LLC for purposes of acquiring and operating under-performing industrial products companies.  Prior to that, she was President of a $150M division of Thermo Fisher Scientific manufacturing automated test equipment, ultra-high vacuum components and assemblies, industrial controls, and laboratory products.

Before joining Thermo she was Vice President, Operations for NUR Macroprinters, a high-growth international provider of imaging systems, inks, and substrates to the out-of-home advertising market.  While in this position Sharon had direct responsibility for supporting double-digit product and services revenue growth throughout the Americas.  Prior to that, she was Chief Operating Officer at Holtrachem, Inc., where she directed the strategic and operational restructuring and successful sale of the company to a strategic buyer.  Before HoltraChem Sharon was a member of the executive team that acquired the Printing Products business from W. R. Grace through a Citibank Venture Capital backed management buyout.

During a 15-year career at Grace she directed the development, turnaround, and profitable growth of a broad range of global technology-based businesses including: engineered materials, high resolution imaging systems, and high performance polymers.  Her Grace tenure included a three-year assignment as European Director of the Printing Products business, based in Cernay, France, and a six-year assignment growing a technology spin-off from the concept stage into a profitable $10M systems business.

Sharon has an MBA in Marketing and Management from the Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin. She is a founding member of the CEO Management Group;  Executive Team Member of the International Executive Resource Group Boston Chapter; and a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and MentoNet.
